UPDATED 8:37 AM EDT May 09, 2013
LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A woman accused of shooting a man following a rape fantasy role play will make her first court appearance Thursday in Floyd County.
Police: Woman killed man during rape fantasy to protect...
Police said a southern Indiana murder suspect admitted she killed a man who came over to play out a rape fantasy.
Police have confirmed that Lisa Shuler is being held on a murder charge after they say she shot a man multiple times in Floyd County.
Lisa Shuler, 31, is charged with the murder of Charles Pierce.
Shuler is now being held without bail at the Floyd County jail charged with shooting and killing 49-year-old Charles "Eddie" Pierce after police say she invited him over to play out a rape fantasy at her home Monday night.
After their sexual encounter, police say she shot him several times.
The probable cause affidavit states Shuler admitted to the murder and said she was afraid Pierce would show her husband, who she recently separated from, pictures of her and Pierce's previous sexual encounters.
Court records say she deleted more than 200 text messages from her cell phone and tried to delete some on Pierce's phone while she called 911.
She told the 911 operator it was a home invasion.
She is set to be in court for her initial hearing around 1 p.m.
