looks like it was his reserve chute. musta hit something by accident song whatever it was he was doing:dunno:

Why anyone in a reasonably sound mind would want to voluntarily want to exit a perfectly operating airplane in the middle of its flight is beyond my comprehension.

I turned down the opportunity to attend jump school at Ft Benning three times during my Army career, the last time after I had successfully completed a 36-month joint command slot and that was after the standard 18-month signal company command. When the Major who was my detailler asked what I thought about going to jump school I asked why I should. He stated that it would open up 18% more command slots to me. I hung up on him. . .
