I tried to do it once without the recipe. It failed miserably.

Without the recipe, you'll make mac 'n cheese... but it just won't be smack. :sadangel:

Father in Law was called back to the City by Momma, he left Friday and was sad and really drunk the night before, well... both of us were.

My wife slept in Saturday morning till about 9am and found us out back still drinking Rhum in the morning from the night before.. :leaving:

I finally crashed about noon, FIL went to the boat with a bottle..

I'm sure Momma was happy to see him make it home... :rofl:


And for your hangover, if you can find it, Coconut water works pretty good! :yesnod:

Dunno if you remember me saying this, but your "Smack" at last year's BR was the first "Mac and Cheese" I've ever liked... ever. But then, it's been a long time since I've even tried (prolly not since school days), so didn't know if my taste might have evolved since then.

I was at a fancy charity event a couple of weekends ago, and they had some fancy "Mac and Cheese" in a silver serving dish. Serious !!... That seemed a reputable enough setting to give the regular stuff another chance. Big Mistake... Had to discretely drop it into the trash when nobody important was looking.


Difference as I'd describe it...

Your "Smack" taste and texture was like nicely melted (and re-solidified) Cheddar Cheese (with maybe something like "caramelization" having happened in the process). I don't remember any other special flavors, just Cheddar.

Their "Mac and Cheese" was thin yellow stuff with no texture and nothing like Cheddar taste.


I certainly don't understand this "cooking" thing, though. It's magic.

Finally recovered after the Jimmy Buffett Concert on Saturday. It's not that I drank too much, my issue was that I ate too little. :rofl:

Things got mighty fuzzy there towards the end of the show. I'm honestly amazed I didn't lose anything I brought with me (cell phone, wallet, etc.)

No real significance. One of the couples brought a few pairs and the guys all put them on. Certainly was good for some laughs while I took pics. :D
