...and I ended up winning a $10,000 safari trip to Africa for a bid of $3,500.
I just finished sighting in and then cleaning my Rem 700 XCR II in .375 H&H Magnum. Good things sometimes happen when the moon is full.

I assume you're planning on taking me. I'll start looking around for things I need to pack. You're gonna bring the beer too, right?

My girlfriend's dad hunts in Africa quite regularly and he gets all of his hunts at charity events, always dirt cheap.
His latest package was a 10 day hunt for 4 people (2 hunters and 2 observers) 4 animals allowed to each hunter, travel, lodging and meals in Africa all covered for $2,500 total.
This is the only picture I have, but the Giraffe is on one of his older hunts, he is waiting for his Lioness to make it back over here.

Hunting a Somali pirate sounds like fun. Not much left to mount if you shoot him with that gun though

You're going for the nude Pygmies in the Congo admit it. I'd watch out if I were you, those people are lethal with the blowgun. You're likely to end up on a spit with an apple in your mouth. I'd stay home and sue someone if I were you Harry. :D
Congrats BTW! :cert:

Might not want to wear cologne when you go I hear there are some cats that find Calvin Klein Obsession for men irresistible.

I am not 1 of the anti-hunter types, but that is just... ummm... yea. :skep:
Hunting for food to survive? By all means. There is absolutely nothing at all wrong with that. Hell, I come from a rural area where the first day of deer season was a day off of school. But, hunting things like giraffes, lions, etc for the sake of hanging them on the wall? I am not at all in agreement with that.
I spent a decent amount of time in Africa for Uncle Sam. Hunting a giraffe seems to be about the equivalent of hunting pigeons in NYC. Almost every flight I hopped was delayed by giraffes on the runways. Doesn't seem like it would be too difficult to find one.
