Reminds me of a funny cartoon in a VERY old car magazine. It shows two transporters like that full of muscle cars for delivery. The truck drivers have parked their rigs, unloaded the cars, and drag racing each other in the cars.

There are/was two different ways to exit the Corvette assembly plant. I went the less used way one time. They close the road off most of the time for "Corvette Testing" (I have pictures). There was some SERIOUS black marks on the pavement there :D This was during the C5 era, and after the ZO6 went into production.
