View Full Version : Returned back to Baghdad..

Took a few days to travel to Balad. Left Saturday via Blackhawk nice little 30 min ride north...spent 3 days in Balad to complete a mission then sat in the Pax Terminal for 11 hours waiting to catch a flight back to Baghdad :ulan: . My buddy and I wanted to get back earlier then my scheduled flight on Tuesday so went up to the terminal to Space "A" (available) Monday at 1500 and took off at 0045 :kick: ..was a nice break from the norm :patriot:

Let me get this straight-you took and EARLIER flight on purpose? Stuff like that will get you a section 8. :D



Edit: I'm screwed up or are you in the States or Bagdad?

Im in Baghdad...went to Balad left day early to get back to my camp... and yea I kinda wanted to stick around another day to chillout be away from work but it gets kinda old real quick staying in transiet housing

haha I did!! :popcorns: They actually have a grab-n-go bar in the terminal with dry bread sandwhiches and drinks!! :smilelol:

Boy, threads like this bring it all home and make what's going on over there real. It's easy to forget it PEOPLE and not just numbers and pics on CNN.
