I had a friend that had that surgery. She dropped about 50lbs, maybe 75...never got really thin and just looks unhealthy. She was diabetic and it's gotten better but she's still on insulin and still doesn't eat as healthy as she should.

But I guess if they did eat well they wouldn't need the surgery.:island14:

On the tangent tip, whatever happened to Butterfly 71 (Shannon?) The last I head from her, she was having some complications with her implant port. She lost a lot of weight, though, from bariatric surgery.
