Can someone help me out and make a logo that says "History"

Use your own idea...

My thought was some books in the back ground? :island14:

It will go top left but can be wider I'm guessing.

This is a new site I am working on, so far we are working on getting the information from a 12 volume set we scanned into it, next will be The History of the Masonic Lodge, another large set of books that were my fathers.

I also have a book I plan to add soon that was put together after JFK was shot.

And some Civil War History and Photos from another set of books.

Also have a book by US Grant, but see someone else has already done the work out there.

The plan is to just keep adding History type of stuff to it over time and make it like a free online history library.

A few are 1800's the other is 1905 so public domain.

The JFK is 60's.... so at worse I would be asked to remove it, but highly doubt it.

I will probably put a lot of older copyrighted stuff on it over time, but offering it for free just like the library does. :island14:

One of the books I have here on US Grant has already been done.

I will probably save their work, and add my scans for the Pics, ect to it.

I did. Yanked the generic pic off Google and just threw on a bevel/emboss and some text....and you're welcome. :)
