OP, my kid's mom grew up on LI, Sayville and Bayshore....we spent many a year sailing on south bay.....

and I have had many a friend in LEO/FD/EMT work in the DC area....

so total respect for the guys, crews,

AND NONE for the PROGRESSIVES that dominate our .gov structure that allowed that to happen in the first place....
