Samsung LED TV anyone

Hey,
Has anyone bought one of these TV's? I am on the fence of getting one to fit my wifes EBay purchase into our family room. Almost time to buy a bigger house to fit some of this stuff. I thought she would never fill the kitchen up, wrong. :beer:

I have been looking at those as well. For the $$, the 6000 is not a bad deal but depending on the room, and the "necessity" of a true black, then you might want to go with the 8500 in order to get the local dimming.

However, for a cheaper alternative to the 8500 - Check out the Vizio 55" VF551XVT. Has the same options as the Samsung 8500, however it is not as thin, still has the local dimming, and is 1/2 rhe cost of the Samsung.

(I think I may be going with the Vizio)

I read a lot of reviews on the Vizio, not too sure on this one. I might go with the 55B8000 Samsung. The refresh rate on the Vizio is 5ms vs 2ms on the Samsung. The contrast is 2,000,000:1 for Vizio and 5,000,000:1 for the Samsung.
