LOUISVILLE, KY - The Jefferson County Coroner's Office says dogs were feeding on the body of an elderly woman who died in her home more than three weeks ago.
According to deputy coroner Jack Arnold, 68-year-old Ida Robinson died of natural causes. On January 5, Robinson's body was found inside her home in the 5300 block of Devers Avenue near Iroquois Park.
A neighbor says he hadn't seen Robinson for months.
"Those dogs stayed out and they always barked and that's pretty much where I got that from. I seen the newspapers out there like that the mail and I said I'm going to call the police. It's kinda sad that someone would just leave her in there like that," said Kortney Johnson, a neighbor.
The Coroner's Office is looking for Robinson's next of kin. Anyone with information can call 574-6262.
