First time in 9 years I'm not going. Have to go back to Cali to finish my helicopter.

That sucks, I haven't been in probably 5 years, I'd really like to get back down there.

I think the only reason I went 9 years in a row was the tickets were given to me, and my buddies family had a sweet spot on the infield. Plus there was the Friday night BBQ at my buddies hangar that was to die for.


No more free tickets, only thing is I'm missing my buddies KC Grand Reserve Champ BBQ. Hopefully my wife will save me some brisket. :seeya:

never been to that race, been to the 24 hr race at daytona 3-4 x. not recently , last one was 5 -6 yrs ago
