I felt like this belonged here more than in PRandC. With the exception of the military, TSA, DHS, police dept's enforcing laws that aren't constitutional should reap the consequences. Hopefully all of the manufacturers will follow suit, and for that matter move to Texas where freedom is still free!!!!

Except I wouldn't exempt any .gov agency.

Law abiding citizens can't have it, neither can .gov.

The push back this time around is quite a bit more than I remember in 1994.

The push back this time around is quite a bit more than I remember in 1994.

I was only 13 in 1994 so I can't really compare but I do know that there are a lot of people who are flat out sick and tired of being pushed around and told what to do by a government that can't even begin to control themselves in every aspect from what you drive to what you eat and what guns you can and can't own.

It seems that for many who have been bottling it up, this is the overflow point and where the line is being drawn. The only way these asshats will stop is if they are forced to do so whether it is by political, financial, or in a very worst case physical means.

While I am all for what these companies are doing, it is mostly a symbolic geture only. Until you get the big guys (S&W, Colt, Ruger, etc) on board, I really dont see it having much impact.

I agree in the grand scheme but these gestures are a big part in helping voices be heard from somebody OTHER than the anti-gun blowhards.
