Wouldn't that allow the drones to track you? :leaving:

Radartest.com doesn't seem to like it as much as the Escort and Bel.

Which do you like? Got a link of a review that does prefer the Valentine?:waiting: radar-detectors-review also doesn't seem to like the Valentine as much. 10th out of 10. The Escort was 1st.

I have a Valentine 1. I've never gotten a ticket since I bought it. I still drive like an Ahole. 'Nuff said.

The speed limit varies on how much over they are allowing you to go plus the margin the radar detector gives you for advance notice.

The speed limit used to be 55.

I haven't used or needed one in years. Since Indiana has unmarked police, i am considering getting one. For the nuclear fallout thing.

That's what I have and like the red light camera warnings and alerts.

I've not gotten any tickets from cops or in the mail from the light cameras!

I'm beginning to think I can't go wrong with any of the 10 listed on that one site.

Again what?

Yet another radar detector thread.

We get at least one a month here. Maybe we need a radar detector section, a buying a camera section, and a gun section. Of course there would then be no threads in VBOT.

Maybe you need to step away from the forum once in a while. I don't recall any radar detector thread in over a year.

Now a Valentine1. Before, Escort 8500. My Valentine already appears to be on the fritz. My Escort lasted about 5 years before getting glitchy. I haven't had my V1 for a year yet, maybe I should send it in for testing.

I had my V1 just over a year and it got a bit funky, kept rebooting every few minutes. Sent it back, they fixed it, uploaded any updates and had it back to me in just over a week. No charge. Customer service is excellent.

I'm still using my Escort 8500. I've had it for over 6 years now without issue.

No, 80's technology and the arrows are just a useless gimmick.

Going on 10 years on one of my Escorts, still works perfectly.
