One tip: Aldo shoes usually run a little small. I'm normally a 7.5, but have to bump up to 8 with most Aldo shoes.

Its not hard. :funny:

The actual heel height, as you stand in the shoe, isn't really as tall as it looks, since they are platform heels. They're almond toe, as well. I cannot do a pointy toe in heels like that. And I'm used to wearing heels to work.

I do love my heels. Especially because I'm about 5'3". On a good day. :leaving:

But I'm not cleaning house in them or anything. ;)

Pointy toe is way uncomfortable. :ack: Round toe looks too...uhhhhh, round...for my taste. So, almond toe is usually what I try and find. I throw a gel insert into the area where the ball of your foot would be, specifically made/shaped for heels...good to go.

If she wears any type of orthopedic sole for high arch, I would think that a higher instep would be more comfortable, as opposed to width...???

Since Aldo shoes run a little small, I could see how she wouldn't be able to find a good fit, though. :(

Normally, some of the width is absorbed by her arch pulling the sides in, so to speak.
They are tough to find a good fit for her though.
