The Guitar player is Charly Baty, a well known blues musician from Northern California. I've been seeing him in bars for over 30 years. Look him up on Youtube, phenominal player.

He's doing something different now, playing with a Gypsy Swing quartet and playing accoustical.

The venue will be the "meeting house", a small room in a nearby restored 1880s Hotel. Only 40 seats. I'm really looking forward to this:

Wow, what an excellent show! The room wasn't much bigger than my living room. I sat right up front near the accordion player. The guy was fantastic. I've never seen anyone play that instrument like he did.

Best part was after the show we went to the bar next door and the whole band came in and sat right next to us. It was a little expensive buying drinks for them, :Dbut well worth it. Can't wait to see them again.

A friend of mine invited me to see a guy named Monty Montgomery a while back. I'm usually tuned into guitar players, but I had never heard of this guy.

One of the best show's I've ever been to in my life. The venue help maybe 150 people.

I came home and hit iTunes for just about everything I could find.
