My bride the vet says it's not a bear she says it's probably a large breed dog........But for sure not a bear......:)

Similar to my guess. Cats have retractable claws and you won't see those on a print.

just measured, those pliers are 6-1/4" long.
very soft dirt from melting snow, in one print you can see all four claws sunk deep enough to touch the soil and leave a mark.
looks like print is about 3-1/2" wide.

Looks like a Great Dane print.
It looks just like the paw prints of our Great Danes, but I doubt it was actually one of our dogs because they don't like to get their feet muddy or leave their heated dog-room when the weather is this cold. ;)

there is a smaller track in that pic, bottom center. Older than the big tracks. Not sure what it is.
