if I'm on the phone, and I have paper in front of me to take notes on the phone call, by the end of the call it's full of stupid little drawings.

Oh yeah. Meetings too. They usually express my dispair.

But I've found that doodles can be productive. I immediately start to draw when someone asks for a technical explanation. I talk better when I draw.

i always have a yellow legal pad in front of me. when on the phone, the margin lines on the left end up colored in every other one down, or with some hash design etc in every other little rectangle.
