Was out at a local gun shop the other day, and saw another Kimber that I wanted - went and picked it today.

Here it is with my other Kimber (new one is on the bottom);

Very nice! Love 1911's. Too bad Kimbers are "illegal" in MA. Would love to pick one up.

Love the Kimber .45, and when I saw this Target 10mm, had to get it. I had one of the original Colt Delta Elite's in the late 80's and loved the round. I had always regretted getting rid of it. So had to get this one. Funny part is, it's easier right now to find target rounds for it than the .45...

The CF ones?? They are available on the Kimber website. Probably will do something different on the 10mm.

LOL,, I've managed to avoid it for about 40 years of shooting, but keeping my fingers crossed.

Thanks, always liked the way the 10mm shoots. Can't wait to hit the range to try it out. The .45 has been flawless, and expect this one to be as well.

I'm a sucker for 1911's so you get a hellz yeah from me. I have my Springer 1911 strapped on as I type. Unless I'm on the base, or overseas, know that I am armed up. I on occassion take out my Sig GSR 1911. Very smooth shooting pistol.:seasix:

Damn boys, nice collection. I like that Ruger single action too. I have a Vaquero in .44 Mag, but haven't shot it in years. That sumbitch is brutal, but it's cool and won't go anywhere.:seasix:

Great collection, love my 1911's as well..

I was amazed how the local gun shops have been wiped out.. not a new AR to be found, and most hi capacity pistols were sold out as well.

The one shop was actually asking $2500 for used Rock River ARs. Crazy stuff.

Man, I saw some beat up AR's at one of the local gun shops in that same price range. Crazy, you're right!

Handguns need to pass a set of rules/tests issued by the MA Attorney General's office. Not every manufacturer wants to bother submitting test guns so the only Kimbers here are used models brought into the state by people moving here.
This is my S&W Stainless, 100% stock, one of my favorite shooters. Target sights, ambi safety, checkered front strap, skeleton trigger and hammer and double serrated slide.

Wow! Those are very nice! I've been looking at the Sig p938 but am waiting for the current craziness to die down. The Kimbers are kind of pricey aren't they? How reliable are they for you? Any FTF or things like that?

Love the G10 grips.

Cali has the same thing, that's why Steyr's (my personal favorite) and KelTecs are very hard to find.

They showed just how stupid the requirement was when they had three IDENTICAL Glocks (17's I think), one was black, one was stainless and one was green, and they considered those three different models, so Glock had to submit the same gun three times for the same qualifications.

Personally, I would have told them to pack sand and only made one of the "models" available in the state, but that's me.

Freaking IDIOTS running/ruining that state. Glad I left when I did!

I haven't had any FTF with the .45. IMO Kimbers are kind of mid-range in the 1911 pricing, there are cheaper Taurus and other models, as well as more expensive (Wilson Combat, Les Baer, etc).

Have about 400 rounds through my Kimber Crimson Ultra Carry II with zero issues. Even with a lot of reload/range rounds.

They have a great feel and balance to them.

I was looking at the 938 for a while too, but I'm seeing a lot of mixed reviews on it's accuracy...and the price...ugh.

I'm pretty locked on to the Smith and Wesson M&P Shield 40 now. Hope I can find one at the next gun show in two weeks.
