I've been in a shitty mood for a couple days now. Not really anyones fault. I was going to stay home and mope but someone I hadn't heard from in a year just invited me to a party. Should I go or just go to bed ?

Hard to answer IMO.
1. Is there a reason for the bad mood or just being pissy?
2. Can you go and enjoy yourself or will you stay pissy?
3. Do you feel like being around people and partying?
I know I've been having a hard time myself but I decided to say F it I'm not going anywhere but I'll stay home have some drinks and try to think a little more positively. I'm done moping over shit I can't change. So f it I am going to make the most of my first ever new years alone and drink alone......well unless f.b and here are considered anything. :rofl::D:leaving:

On a serious note, I always do things to get out of my own head when I'm not feeling happy.
Lots of ways to do it. Volunteer work, a new relationship, or hookers and blow for the really rough ruts.... :dance:

when I feel like that I just go to bed. I'd rather not inflict myself on ANYONE when I feel like that, which isn't often thank God. Christmas/Newyears is a downer time of year for many people, especially singles. :ball:

Yup.. If you don't get lucky with her chances are the party will have a favorable male/female ratio with her girlfriends there so you will be in decent shape anyway. Plus if she thinks enough of you to invite you, even if she isn't "into you like that" she'll probably put a good word in for you with a friend if you meet someone there you like
As a general rule, girls don't invite guys they don't like to parties..:D

See! I had planned to stay home, but I walked next door and proceeded to get my ass kicked by a gang of kids in hide and seek. The bar stool in the kitchen didn't provide sufficient cover. Who knew?
