GM for the Jagwads is gone too. Maybe the next two smart moves Khan will do is bring in tebow and release Jones-drew.

I lost a hundred bucks on the two fluke wins thet had. Fortunately at $50.00 a game i was able to clear way way into the black this year. Send his ass over here. I could use the cash.

Pat Shurmur - Cleveland Browns got the boot too.

Ironically, Marvin Lewis - Cincinnati Bengals is the longest serving current head coach in the NFL.

Was he actually fired or was it a more PC separation due to his tenure with the Eagles?

Reid is a better coach than anyone they hire.

Somebody will be getting a good coach but things got stale in the eagle's nest. For whatever reason the team wasn't playing to their full potential. ( maybe it was because of the dog killer as qb / leader)

It's time for a change :yesnod:

I never liked the guy; but a record of 10-6 ???

If he were the Bengals coach - he'd get bonuses & raises.

It's not the 10-6 record. It's the way he's been getting rolled by Green Bay. Oh, and the fact that the 7-1 record they enjoyed in the first half was highly suspect due to the Bears beating up on teams that were on their ass for the most part. As soon as they started playing halfway decent teams all their weaknesses were exposed. And the biggest weakness is the continuing lack of an offensive line.

If the Bears had just went 4-4 in the last half of the season, Lovie would have his job. But they went 3-5 and once again got screwed by Green Bay (by them losing to Minnesota.) Lovie has no idea how to run an offense. I can't count how many times the coaching staff failed to get a play to Cutler in time. Cutler isn't the problem, he's a good QB. Not perfect, but keep in mind that Chicago has won games for decades with QB's much worse than Cutler.

We finally get a real QB and Lovie not only makes the O-line even worse, he sends arguably the best center in the NFL to New Orleans. WTF? Kruetz was getting a little old but still had several good year left. Bonehead moves like that is what did Lovie in, that and not being able to stand up to Green Bay which was the one promise he made when he was chosen 9 years ago.

At the end of last season I thought Lovie was done.

Hard to say....

The owner of the Eagles sounded truly upset/disappointed with the 4 and 12 record. He also said that going 8 and 8 would be unacceptable. However if there were unexpected events/injuries ect... that he might overlook a bad record.

That being said, most Eagles fans think Ried was a good coach. Just not a great one, and his time had come.

Don't know if that would be a good thing.

The way the Bears operate, they will hire one of the other six fired.

Angelo was the guy handing out contracts at the time Kruetz left....and frankly, i was/am ok with him leaving.

be curious how much of the defensive staff they keep.
