I will say up front, I have never watched DD, but based on the ads, I cannot possibly fathom finding ANY amount of humor or entertainment in it. Looks like another Honey Boo Boo fake reality collection of idiots.

Actually both shows are pretty good. DD is kind of like a reality sit com. Yes some of it is contrived, but the personalities are real. The Robertsons are a functionally dysfunctional family, but their family means everything to them. It's pretty entertaining, not low brow like Honey Boo Boo (which is just flat out disgusting).
