I freaking love Christmas. Trees go up the minute we walk back in the door from Thanksgiving travel, they don't go down until the final Bowl Game of the season is over, which thankfully keeps getting pushed back.

Nothing fancy and no ornaments (first Christmas we're not dirt poor, hopefully next year we'll start collecting them. All I have is a Hallmark Joe Montana Notre Dame ornament somewhere), colored lights are a MUST for me. Boo white lights.

I just put up a little one this year because time was tight and will be for the next couple months. I put up the big one last year and didn't get it put away till mid-March....:lol:
The ornaments are mostly birds, stars and corvette stuff. Oh yeah, there's also a Viper and a squirrel :D

I just put the big tree back in the attic. Maybe next year....but I pulled it down and a few hours later I'm like...I really don't feel like playing with it and remembered that I didn't put it away till Mardi Gras last year. Whatever tree I put in that space looks puny because it has a 16' peak. Even a 10' tree I used to have looks small there. It's fun to change things up a bit.

You will be able to find 4' trees in a lot of colors at Wally World after Christmas. I usually take the small trees into work. We have Florida State, LSU and Saints/Grambling trees in our area. They are the only Christmas decorations on the whole floor. People used to decorate the hell out of the work areas and now no one does it except me. Bunch of bah-humbugs.
