So I did and lost. That decision cost me 53 points. Had I played my original line up, I'd be in the championship game.

The league I'm in plays a week 15-16 total points championship. I had the second highest scoring week of the season (216) and hold a 54 point lead over the next highest scoring team from week 15, and 69 and 113 over the other two teams.

Really close to the $450 championship payoff. Pretty much guaranteed a minimum of $100 for third or $125 for second. Already made my buy-in back based on where I finished in the league and weeks where I was the highest scoring team.

You obviously have to cover bye weeks and injuries, but your high scorers are your high scorers. In 20 years as commisioner of my KSC league I watched dozens of owners shoot themselves in the foot trying to get cute with their line-up.

I started the year slow, 1-5, but finished up 6-1 and looking to win the league. Kinda coincides with AP going on a tear...

I sat Stevie Johnson too. It was a good move that gained me four points, starting Crabtree over Johnson. I could have gained six points by starting Johnson over Steve Smith, but in reality I would have sat Crabtree before Smith normally, so I won't count that as a possibility.
