For some reason, unknown to me, I had been unable load the forum for several days. I was finally able to contact Chef through Loco and Tom fixed me up.

So... did I miss anything?

Not much, just a little discussion about guns.

Sounds eerily similar to what happened to me.
Were you trying to post something and then get locked out?

Gotcha. I think that is a nationwide discussion right now.

That only happens to Canadians.

Exactly what happened. I spent two days trying to figure out why I could not post a specific thread in its entirety, and I had just tried posting that thread in parts when I suddenly could not load the forum.

It then took me a few days trying to fix things on my end before I gave up and lit the Batsignal. After that is was mere minutes before the wizard managed to get me back to Kansas...

Exact same thing with me.

I tried to post something, hit the reply button and got an MSQYL error.
Couldn't get on after that.

Glad to see your back. :cert:

Thanks, glad to be back! :seasix:

What was really pissing me off was the fact I could post one paragraph of this thread I wanted to post, but the instant I popped the second paragraph into the post as an edit, it wouldn't load.

I guess the forum doesn't want us discussing a certain 80's action film directed by the late Tony Scott and starring Tom Cruise and Val Kilmer...

Long story short, it has to do with the server firewall software. We're still not sure why it kicked your IP addresses out, but we at least know where to go. Tom is the one that untangles that kind of stuff.

Glad you're back. :cert:

Need to get Anonymous to take Paramount offline a bit so we can get a working trailer link...

I've been trying to reply to IC's PM...but keep getting this error message (don't know if it's related or not):

'An error occurred while processing this directive.'

For a second there I thought I was at the other place.

That is the error I was getting before I couldn't load the site at all. I was getting it for 2 days trying to post a thread. I could do anything else.

I almost wonder if the forum's firewall eventually locks a user out if they keep trying to do whatever it is that gets them that error...

That might be it.
VB kept hanging on me when I was trying to post.
So I kept trying and trying, and going back and copying and pasting a few times.

Then I became the sad clown of life. :(

I've experienced this as well. Narrowed it down to a paragraph. Even narrowed it down to the word (forget what it was though). I ended up using another word with a similar meaning and the reply worked. Very weird.
