I'm using American Collectors Insurance to insure my 23 T-bucket and the price is a bit high for me. It's about $540-ish a year for an agreed value of $20K, full coverage, must keep the car in a locked garage, no use as a daily driver (never do anyway), and I can't use it for running every day errands or wot not.
Now here's the thing, I've seen others with lower prices in the $200 range but i don't know if those companies (Haggerty's, Grundy's, etc...) are any good.
I tried using USAA, but they are the ones who sent me to American Collectors.
So, what do you all use to insure your classic cars?

Haggerty and Grundy are both good

That's what i'm thinking. they have the same requirements i do now, but a lower price. I'm wondering if there's anything else out there, though, so I can get the best price.

I would doubt it

I have Hagerty on my old cars. Have never had to file a claim, but have heard that they deal fairly.

Try contacting Adam Boca?
Corvette Insurance | Collector Car Insurance | National Corvette Museum Insurance (http://www.ncminsurance.com/)
I know their usage restrictions are similar, no idea how competitive they are on price.

Online quote was about $280.00. That's less than I was paying in TX

Our 1938 Chevy is with Hagerty...no complaints but also never filed a claim. I think it's 120-140/year but our stated value is half of yours.
I have my VW insured with Adam at NCM as well great prices and when we had the motorcycle, it was only $3 more a month since we already had a policy.
I think my stated value is $15k and I pay about 150 a year.
I have my Z16 with Adam, runs around $375 per year with the drive to work and the drivers under 25 (so the Gnome can drive it) options.

Adam would not take my wife's Miata along with the '72 Vette, last I talked to him, so that wasy maybe 3 years ago, been with American Collectors since we got that Miata....
paying about 360/year.....all on one lump sum.....kinda messes up the budget a bit.....

We have a mix of State Farm and Hagerty. Both are about the same price with similar coverage. I'm paying around $130 a year for a $20k car.

Looks like the best I am getting from Hagerty or Grundy is about $270. Adam Boca and crew wants into the $300.00 range. will make a switch during business hours tomorrow after when I get a chance to call the other two places. hell, maybe American Collectors will price match. Would be much easier.
Have the C3 with Hagerty, $15K coverage for $180 yearly.

Hmm...wonder why my T-bucketfor 15K with 5000miles per year (probably not even 2K if that) is coming out in the $250 range. Must be something about FL I guess. I did notice that the online quote also throws in towing packages, too.

Went with Adam Boca. Best price I could get here in FL is $250/yr and he was offering more coverage than Grundy or Hagerty.

Know what I bitch about?? with that NE USA regional carrier....Erie Ins.....
15 years ago, I carried 3 vehicles......3/4 ton work van, '72 vette, and '70 Lemans/GTO convertible....for 600/year....
Liability was 100/300 and full coverage except the work van.....
Wife/I had to fight a holy war on terror to get to pay 500/year on her silly Escort we just lost, and that was 10/20 coverage.....
Florida ins. rates are just flat stupid....
