NFW I could sleep if I knew that damn thing was in my house.

I could live with a moth, but a reptile...NFW

She is a beast :yesnod:

Sometimes it takes a dive into the air to catch a bug, then falls and flops on the floor loudly when it figures out that it can't fly

If I could catch it I might relocate it, but they are hard to catch and hardly worth the trouble, another would be back to replace it in just a few days.

A lizard isn't going to do anything to you or anybody else. They eat bugs, that's it. I used to keep them as pets when I was a kid, also a series of 8 snakes (each one named Big Al) and even a pet alligator (again, named Big Al...)

I did it because it bugged my mom. I was a rather precocious child. I named all my other pets different names but stated matter-of-factly that all snakes and alligators had to be named Big Al, end of story, no further discussion allowed. :D Note that they did have the addition of "The Fourth" or "The Seventh" so that one could be differentiated from the others if the need arose.

My pet chameleons had various names, cats, frogs, turtles, canaries, etc...

I like the idea. I used to name all my male cats with something that began with "B"--Ben, Beefy, Bud, etc. No one ever noticed my scheme....

Since the big ones usually only come out at night, that lizard feels quite "at home" if he comes near the light of the TV. He looks well fed too, so he's doing a good job on the bugs. :seasix:

Lizards are :cool1:

I read stories about American POW's of the Japanese during WWII. They ate ANYTHING they could lay their hands on except Lizards. They wanted them around to eat the bugs carrying Malaria and all those other wonderful diseases out there.

When I was in Vietnam I saw those small lizards all the time. After a few days I got use to them and didn't pay much attention to them. Just part of the environment.:cert:

I would never want one for a pet, but that is why I don't bother them, they do not bother us, and the less mosquito's we have.. the safer my kids are I think.

Dengue is a real threat around here. :sadangel:

For that reason alone it far outweighs any other problems they would cause, like a little lizard poop on my desk now and then..

Our downstairs Tv is not flat screen either..

I had just bought this one to pacify the wife, and then a few weeks later a friend of mine that has been remodeling his bar/restaurant over in town gave me two Tv's

No budget around here at our place for Flat Screens.

If I had known they were on the way, I would have waited, but since we now had three we gave the third to my wife's family.

Then he even gave us a Satellite. :hurray:
