Just remember: It's not the size of the cat in the fight--it's the size of the fight in the cat. My cats have put many dogs to shame. Big dogs.

Only because the dogs have been conditioned.
NFW a dog intent on killing a cat would fail.
Our gentle (loves kids and the cat we had inside) Rough Collie (think Lassie) went up a tree at least 5 feet to grab a neighbors yellow tabby. We stopped him and the cat lived but the cat never came outside again.
I had a beagle growing up. One of the houses in the Neighborhood had over 6 cats. One day they tore up the beagle pretty bad.
After a few months the Neighbors called up screaming our dog was eating one of their cats The beagle had stalked one of the cats, killed it and laid down in front of the other cats and ate it. They never bothered that beagle again.
I miss that Dog.

, while I have no ill feelings toward cats, I bet that beagle was happier than sheeet

The smallest cat here is also the loudest growler when it eats, none of the larger cats mess with it for some reason. :island14:

The reason I thought this was so funny is that a number of years ago we had a Golden Retriever/Samoyed mix. One day we brought home this little 10 week old kitten. The dog went up to sniff the kitten and he layed his front paw/claws across the dog's nose. The dog never messed with that cat after that
