Chick Bank robber - YouTube

YORK – It appears that before her arrest, Hannah Sabata, 19, of Stromsburg, took it upon herself to create and post an online video, in which she brags about stealing a car and robbing a bank.

Sabata was taken into custody Wednesday on charges that she robbed the Waco bank after stealing a car in York.

In the video, which is coined “Chick Bank Robber,” Sabata holds up handwritten signs (accompanied by subtitles) in which she says she’s having the “best day of her life,” because she stole a Pontiac Grand Am and walked away with more than $6,000 when she robbed a bank. In the video, she holds up car keys, saying “my new car is shiny. Of course I took the plates off already.”

Then she slowly unveils a sign that proclaims “then I robbed a bank with a gun, a pillow case and a note,” which is followed by her holding up a large bundle of cash, demonstrating to the camera how much money is in her possession. Sabata is shown displaying the different denominations and at one point fans herself with the cash.

Sabata also claims that she is a “victim of the government” and says she planned to pay off student loans and “go on a shopping spree.”

Right before the end of the video, Sabata says she “can still find a purpose,” and then happily poses with the cash.

In the video, Sabata is wearing the same clothes as she was wearing at the time of her arrest – and the outfit matches the clothes worn by the female bank robber as captured by surveillance cameras.

York County Sheriff Dale Radcliff said Sunday afternoon that his office has a copy of the video and it will be turned over as evidence.

No. She's a victim of her own stupidity.

If I only got $6g's from a bank robbery I wouldn't be bragging about how useless of a robber I am.

Actually, that's an above average take.

the average take-home from a U.S. bank robbery was a paltry $4,330.

Doesn't make her smart, though.

If she cared for her stolen child she'd hunt down those thieves and make them pay, not rob innocent people.
