The CNC Website was updated with the following info:
Cars and Coffee™ Dallas has been postponed for this Saturday, January 30th due to inclement weather. The next show is scheduled for Saturday, February 6th.

Starting March 2010 Cars and Coffee™ Dallas will be held on the first Saturday of the month from 8:00am to 12:00pm.

I have actually ridden in one of these and being from Arkansas, well, we don't see many. A local car nut who just happened to have a not-so-bad looking daughter had one. I worked a summer for him doing maintenance and he took me for a spin a couple of times. Not bad but not what I was expecting either. Still sweet as hell though. I drove it across an empty parking lot once and the clutch was atrocious.

I have been instructed by one very loud female Corvette driver that we are to meet at I-20 and 1187 turnout at 7AM Saturday.

Fair warning: The Bee still has 3.55 gears in it, so I can't really haul arse on the freeway. We change out the pumpkin and the gears next week.

This is the first time I've had time to really look it over since it rolled off the car carrier. All is well now however. Fresh Castrol GTX, new filter, shined up the Magnum 500 wheels. Tomorrow I'll vacuum it. Gotta look good for the first showing ya know. :yesnod:

Already been to talk to my builder. We're doing a new build 383 Magnum, balanced with a custom grind cam. 5 weeks.

Oh and it was great to finally meet CheySha, her friend whose name I forgot (sorry), Z06PDQ, and my "associate" wwomanC6. As always, great to hang with Torch Red Tim, NikiQ, Oyealiz, Kevin 73 and the ubiquitous Mr. Threadkiller.

The guy walking around with CheySha was AS1Gonzo on here. Torch Red Tim - some how in the crowd I missed getting to see ya. NikiQ - great to see ya again! Thanks for introducing me to Mr. Buckythreadkiller and Iron Chef. Mike it was cool to walk around with ya and look at all the awesome cars, like your Bee and get some nice shots. Will post some pics here later for ya. Also got to meet at talk to Itsaz, Oyealiz, Kevin 73. I was glad to be able to put some faces with the names.
