WTF did Crane do to some of the best looking uniforms in the majors?
When's he renaming the team the 45s and moving back to the 'Dome?

1) The dome does not have an occupancy permit, so it can't actually be used for anything, despite the fact that HCSA is still making bond payments on it.
2) There will never be a name change back to the Colt .45's, because of political correctness. They had a throwback jersey promotion, and they eliminated the picture of the pistol on the jerseys.
3) Use of orange might be homage to the original Astros uniforms, which prominantly featured the color orange, and were often times mistaken for Orange Julius employee shirts.
4) I don't care for the pictured uniform iteration. The current uniforms actually looked pretty good.

The 'Stros have had some of the most hideous uniforms in the majors - up there with the White Sox short pants and the Marlins clown suits from last year.
Buit for the last several years the brick red and pinstripes were a great look. If they wanna get back to the Nolan Ryan, JR Richard days they need more than just ugly suits.

Is the uniform on an irrelevant team, relevant? The should add an L in front of the A. (I live in Houston)

I was on a beer league softball team that had those same uniforms.
We looked better.
