.......or in my case, "The Clubroom".

On a cold windy day, after stacking firewood, took the rest of the day to relax (which I do quite often), a warm fire, a warm beverage, interesting reading, listening to my favorite tunes in a cozy 68*. My favorite place.......ever.

Nice cave! A little piece of freedom from the world. We expect about 5cms of snow here tomorrow, and that fire looks awfully good. :seasix:

I like the way that you built the brick platform to keep the stove off the floor, and more easily accessible.
I'll file that for possible future use...:seasix:

Thanks. It was quite simple, each leg of the stove is just sitting on three cinder blocks high, then set brick to hide the blocks.

:seasix:The bricks hold the heat too, so that area stays nice & cozy..... It looks good too... Double win .:yesnod:

I'm actually thinking about T1 paneling. I wouldn't have to finish that. I was going to paint bright white anyway. What do you think ?

I dunno. I suck at interior decorating. That's my wife area of exprertise. If you like it, then I guess is ok. Horizontal seams look hideous though, imo.

I agree, but I'm pretty rough out in the garage. I'd be fixing holes in the drywall constantly.
