I spotted this today heading back to the office in Shanghai. Someone is selling a LOT of Mary Kay product here in China to get 1 of these.

Bedazzle your jeans, jacket, even your Ferrari. I was hoping that it was just sun faded, or a bad accident at a stop light, but then the bling showed up.

Wonder if Ferrari custom painted it or if it's an aftermarket re-paint.

I don't think Ferrari would do THAT! :D

So the question is gentlemen, if you had to drive it and couldn't change the color, would you? I for one would, I'm confident in my manhood.

I don't think Ferrari would do THAT! :DIf you have the established credentials, they'll provide just about anything you ask of them. :yesnod:
And FWIW, the color isn't THAT horrible. Maybe it's just the pic quality or an effect of camera flash, but it sure looks like there's some silver pearl mixed in, which is serving quite well to highlight the contours of the car in the sunshine.
Although it would not be my first color choice (nor second, third, or eighteenth), I'm just not hating on that paint job, it's rather interesting and unmistakeably custom.
Park a Rosso Corsa example next to it and see which draws more attention. :D

Actually Porsche has a paint to order option on all of their vehicles. They only accept paint-to-order orders at certain times of year and it's not cheap. You can do any custom color and any color ever offered on any past Porsche model. The only thing.... they don't send you a color sample to verify it's going to turn out how you want it.
There's a beautiful metallic silvery blue (more blue than silver) 997 TT with cocoa interior around here. The owner is an Naval Aviator and I used to see it being driven by him or his wife all the time, but I don't see it anymore so he must have gotten rid of it or gotten re-stationed.
Point is I'll bet Ferrari has something similar for a price

No flash was used for the pictures, just natural Shanghai sun. :D The car did appear to have a slight metal flake, but you had to look really close to see it.

Didn't anybody watch mega factories? Ferrari will paint your car any color you specify. Custom, non-Ferrari, colors are a 25K option if I remember what they said correctly.

If I had to I could, but I'm not keen on Maseratis made after the 50's...
