The one thing that's a given during the holiday season is I always have at least one suicide come in through the ER. Please take a few minutes and learn the warning signs. One of the things friends and families say is they didn't know the person was that depressed. There generally are warning signs you have to know what to look for. Google is your friend since I'm too lazy to put a link on here since I'm posting from my phone.

Great reminder.

5 years ago a friend of mine went out to the family ranch by himself on the day after Thanksgiving. Put a shotgun in his mouth.

His sister hasn't been the same since.

Being in the military for as long as I have, I've seen a lot of suicides. When someone sets their mind to it, no one is going to stop them. Sad fact, but I belive it.:sadangel:

That's why it's important to learn and watch for the warning signs. People usually go through stages before they get to the point they actually carry it out.

It's been 13 years since I lost my uncle, the most influential person in my life. Our family will never be the same either. :sadangel:
