That was a Bud Adams moment of brilliance. Gee, Bum Phillips gets you to the big show several times, so what do we do? Fire Bum. Makes sense to me. By the way, when Tom Landry got the ax, I felt the same way, and I don't even like the Cowboys.


It irked me to no end when Bud took his marbles and went to Tennessee, then won. Harris County is STILL paying for the bonds on the ****ing skyboxes Bud Adams whined about before he decided he simply MUST HAVE a new taxpayer funded playpen.

Meanwhile, HCSA builds a brand new stadium and lets the Astrodome lay fallow, rusting away while still making those bond payments. Oh, don't get me started. Too late. I'm pissed off now.
