My brief dalliance with being a top poster yesterday (for one brief, shining moment in time, I was somebody *sniff*) gave me pause to wonder, where is TxAg?
So, anyone seen him? Vacay? Anyone? Bueller?
He was treated to a weeks vacation...but it's been more than a week.

Called Coool a "Jackhole" election night. I got a hunch the election results were not pleasing to him (They weren't to most of us) but I could be wrong.

He was frustrated, and you have to admit Phil was being a bit of a **** as it was. (you can fill that in with any variety of 4 letter words you like, I used asterisks).
To dick slap him though....thats harsh.

Allowing him a week to cool off is hardly a dick slap. I like TX as much as the next person, but he has to learn to play the game better when it comes to getting your point across...without outright name calling.
I fully understand the reasoning behind the decision. Keep in mind, no one here pulls the ban hammer without someone having walked that tightrope a few times already.
Having said that, I really do like the guy. I hope he decides to come back. :island14:

So, what would be the proper response to that? How about doing some research and posting something to counter his (or whoever's) position?
JC and I agree on some things (mostly social issues) and we disagree on other issues (mostly fiscal issues). But he and I have never gotten into a name calling match, regardless of what we disagree on. It's just silly. :island14:
And let me say this...without JC posting in PRC, it'd be just a bunch of us patting one another on the back over there. Do you not think that he feels like we're posting conservative propaganda like its the God's honest truth? :rofl:

I feel the same way, but I kept going back to CF because I liked alot of people over there, but when the person that pulls the levers behind the scenes has it out for you...why go back, why give them the opportunity to ban you?
Nowdays, if I get banned, for the most part I dont go back, and this is also the reason why I do not buy memberships at any site, unless they provide immunity from childish banning.

Oh give me a break. No one is "out" for anyone around here and you know it. As I've often said, go try and pull the crap that we let folks get away with over at CF and see how long it takes before they scramble your account into a Denver omelette. Of course, anytime someone is banned, it's never THEIR fault, right? "I acted like an asshole, and they caught me on it, so now I'm picking up my toys and going home." Very adult of you. :spdchk: TxAg dished out as much as he took, and usually more, and we're not gonna put up with the kind of name calling that often becomes a part of the threads he participates in. Period.
A few of you seem to be under the misguided impression that you can do anything you want here, which is NOT true. We give everyone a lot of rope but this isn't an electronic free-for-all and there are limits. And it's not surprising that a few of the Barn's biggest pot-stirrers showed up in this thread to put in their two cents.
TxAg was banned for a week because of excessive name-calling. The ban is now lifted and he is free to return if he so chooses. He is also free to not return. In either case it's his call.
If any of you want to discuss this further I suggest sending me a PM, but enough of the Monday Morning Quaterbacking. And if ANYONE really thinks that what we do here is so childish, or that the mod staff are a bunch of power-hungry egomaniancs, well, you're entitled to you opinion. You're also free to find another place on the 'net that you think might be more tolerant.
