New Line Cinema has signed James Wan (Saw, Insidious) to direct MacGuyver, a feature film based on the beloved 80's action-show starring Richard Dean Anderson's hair.
The screenplay was written by Jason Richman (Bangkok Dangerous, Swing Vote), with rewrites by Brian and Mark Gunn (Journey 2: The Mysterious Island).
It is as yet unknown whether Richard Dean Anderson's hair will be involved, but you can bet they're buying a bunch of self-tapping wood screws, tin foil and party balloons... you know, for the airplane he'll build.
