Pretty darned good chili! Not too offbeat since it still tastes like traditional chili.

2 tbsp. vegetable oil

1 medium onion

1 pound ground turkey (or ground beef)

1 15 oz. can black beans

1 15 oz. can of pinto beans

1 15 oz. can whole kernel corn

1 15 oz. can diced tomatoes

1 pkg. spicy taco seasoning

1 pkg. dry Ranch dressing

Put oil in skillet, add diced onion. Saute until turning brown, then dump into a pot. Brown turkey, add to pot. Add all remaining ingredients (do not drain canned ingredients), thin to desired consistency with water, let simmer until hot. Makes 8 generous servings.

Sounds good to me but the traditionalists will cry blaspheme as it has beans in it. Personally, I like beans in chili. :yesnod:

We call that taco soup around these parts. Serve it with some cheese sprinkled on top and tostito chips.

By gosh, you're right! It is almost identical to my taco soup recipe!
