I got these things about two years ago, and finally got them installed today.

Hella Horns

I took the old crappy 95 flute horns out, these ones are louder.

Got Betty Boop up in the lift, and got the old fog bulbs out.

Installation is very easy.

Pete, you should work for the general, if the .gov ever sets it free. What kind of tone is on those horns? A nice deep one?

Not like the old Buicks tone, more like the new Vettes with a high pitch.

I have hella's loudest horn set on The Ghost. People standing on bus stops love it.

Keep those old Delco dual-tones...you might end up with a newer Nissan or kimchee import with a wimpy single note horn. I put some Caprice horns I got out of the junkyard on my old Xterra- it sounded so much better.

it was more like telling people to move rather than asking.

Mike, those things are gone, and were worn out.

Reminds me of when we were kids....we'd go to the junkyard and buy old Buick horns for $2 each. We'd put them under the seats of our buddies cars, and wire them to a key-on circuit. Tuck the wires under the floor mat, and hide and wait. They'd turn the key on and be hit with 120 decibels of screeching fanfare inside the car.

They'd turn the key off immediately after they came 6" off the seat....but about half of them would try it again.

I'd laugh so hard I could barely breathe. Did it to my auto shop and civics teachers too....
