Interesting article on the new Corvette launch. Peter M. De Lorenzo and THE AUTOEXTREMIST is a great site BTW if you've never read it. :cert:
Rants - Autoextremist.com ~ the bare-knuckled, unvarnished, high octane truth... (http://www.autoextremist.com/current/?currentPage=2)

That vid really sux, what a waste of time. If they would release the true pictures of the C-7, people could make up their mind if they want to wait or not, then maybe they could sell some of these 2012 and 2013 models on the lots that won't move.

That's not really the point of the article though.

I read that ... and came to the conculsion that Peter (the author) is starved for attention.

he states:
these leave consumers – enthusiasts or otherwise – so bored with the relentless tease shots, videos, Internet leaks and other cosmic mind manipulation that by the time their particular Belchfire 8 makes its debut it does so to a collective yawn?

does he live in a cave?

Every scrap of info that gets leaked (intentionally or not) - causes a frenzy. No one is getting bored.

Remember, this is the Corvette we’re talking about here. It is one of exactly two automotive nameplates in this business – the Ford Mustang being the other

and there we discover that he's a Mustang guy, that doesn't like all this attention going to a Chevrolet.

I've been reading him for a long time, and I never came away with that thought. Interesting though.

1st these tiny leaks are  for the most part. The only good thing that has been released are the specs/images of the new LT1 engine. Now its just a waiting game till the 13th to see if GM's designers messed up the design or not.

2nd. The Mustang is another Iconic American car... as well as the Corvette.
