Here it is. My dad and I will probably get serious with working on it the beginning of the week after next.

This is the 700r4 transmission in it with the old 305 motor (and probably washed out rings) that was in my T-bucket before I put the current monster power plant in it. The motor isn't in the correct position yet as we have to weld in braces for the motor mounts to bolt to and adjust to cross member so that the trans sits low enough to line up with the diffy.

More pics to come later as we start to make some earnest progress on it if I don't forget, procrastinate, or say fuggitIainttakingnopics.

Tha tengine is just there for a mock up to get the motor mounts correct. Not sure if we will keep the mechanical pump on the motor that goes in or if we will go with electric. Mine seems to be doing fine with the mechanical pump. though, but it is chromed.

It just looked too close to the frame but I guess it is below the motor mount so should be fine. Where you getting the body?

It will actually sit about 1/4" or so above the frame in that spot just like my other one does.

Unless you want to do a complete build from scratch, it's easier to buy one that somebody started that the aren't able to or aren't planning on finishing. After this one is finished, I plan to build my own chopper and then do another T-bucket from beginning to end.

I've actually had more fun with the T-bucket than I did with the mustang I had and the two vettes I had before it.
