Good morning Wendy, they said it was rocking and rolling for THREE minutes! But it was about 6 miles deep so hardly any damage done. The tsunami threat is the big problem. That's 3000 miles away from me, so we didn't feel anything. I'm going to ask my friend in Oregon if she felt anything? :kimblair:

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - There is a level 3 hazmat Code Red situation after eight train cars derailed on Katherine Station Road at Dixie Highway.

Code Red means shelter is in place, usually about a mile radius. Everyone is ordered to close all windows and doors, close off leaks and try not to let any air get in.

One of the cars was carrying a chemical called butadiene, which is a colorless, flammable gas, soluble in alcohol but not in water, usually derived from butane or butane. It is used chiefly in the manufacture of rubber and paint, and in organic synthesis.

MetroSafe officials said there is a confirmed leak of butadiene, and crews are working to contain the leak. As of 9:20 a.m., that was the only chemical leak reported. Officials couldn't comment on the amount of the butadiene leaked.

Officials said the nearest resident is 0.6 miles from the scene and has been evacuated.

MetroSafe said at this time it cannot confirm which direction the train was heading or a cause of the derailment at this time.

Other chemicals involved are:

Hydrogen chloride
Hydrochloric acid
Sodium hydroxide
Styrene monomer
Calcium carbide
Methyl isobutyl ketone

The derailment happened at approximately 6:09 a.m.

An area called Abbott's Beach has been evacuated.

Incident involving substantial quantities of hazardous materials, posing significant risk to public health and the environment requiring major response involving specialized public and private resources and technical assistance. Incident requires extended response and logistical support operations.

A second Ablation in 2011, and a new heart medication specifically for Ablation patients. ( Tikesyn )

This past July 4 she had a reaction from a new medication that was not compatible with the Tikesyn, her heart stopped 6 times. Her Defibrillator zapped her back evey time.

Needless to say Paramedics were called and she was transported to the nearest hospital.

Her Cardiologist had told her that one day, the Defib. would save her life. It did. Six times in one day.

Her chest was sore for two weeks. The down side is she lost another 20% heart function. She has regained 10% of that back at this time.

She had an interview/examation with the Medical Director Heart Transplant Program Director, Transplatantation Cardiology, about a year ago.

She woud be on the 3rd. donor waiting list, which is the least serious recepients.

Our Health Plan would cover 80% of the procedure. Procedure is some where between $600,000, & 800,000.
There is no coverage for the cost of harvesting the donor heart. $98,000.00 give or take.

After care would run around 100,000.

Our health plan was billed If I remember, around 4500.00. for our first appointment. If we decided to go forward, the second appointment would be at the hospital for an 8 hour day. Cat Scan & other tests. A meeting with a the full transplant surgery team, a finance manger and others. I don't remember all of them. I estimated a $20,000 day.

Any way, we were afraid that our health care would be exhausted and we would be left with no coverage for her, not to mention there was no way to come up with the out of pocket costs. It was highly unlikely that she would ever be called.

They do have a great success rate. 89,90% I believe.

So we decided that it was probably not an option.

the vert was soaked the convertible, because besides the vinyl garage ripping off, the 2 covers also fell off, the bikes the covers were thrown into next yard, we are expecting bad weather again this tuesday

That's tough. We didn't have too many problems getting gas after the tornado. We fill up all the cars when storms are predicted. The areas surrounding the damage were able to get power restored. I know hurricane damage is more widespread. Wish I could mail you some!

And you wonder why the panic attacks/anxiety moments are hitting. You are under severe stress. Be patient, be strong, take it a day at a time or an hour at a time or every 5 minutes if you have too.
