View Full Version : Clark Griswold is my neighbor...
So our neighbor (a former Intel engineer) always has an impressive Christmas light setup. Well this year our entire court is getting into the game.
We all went in on computer controlled lighting. We now have 96 independent channels of lighting with wireless repeaters for central control and an FM broadcaster.
I will keep VB updated as the work progresses...

Wire it all into one person's basement light switch.

Yes. It should be good. 96 channels is insane. We are estimating 100+ hours of programming. :willy:
Is his wife a hottie?

That's close to what my next door neighbor did. It worked for a couple years, until one of the inflatable's fans had sufficiently degraded to the point that it overloaded the entire mess. It protected the breaker by setting one of the extension cords on fire, which set his mulch island on fire. Which set the rest of his yard on fire. Our first clue came from the sound of one of the giant Christmas tree orniment balls exploding. That's when we noticed the strange glow coming through the curtains. The firemen thought it was funny.
