I'm going in!
Clutch slave cylinder has been leaking on my '01, so I plan to fix that, and with 87k miles on the original clutch, it makes no sense to not change it.

All I want/need is OEM performance. What are the best options out there? And it looks like the GM service clutch comes as a flywheel, plate, and disc... is that normal of aftermarket ones, too?

Thx!

If you are happy with the service you got from the original clutch (LS-1?),replace with the same. You might consider upgrading to the LS-6 clutch. May cost a few more dollars as I think the LS-6 requires a new master cylinder and a slave. I think the 02-04 cars are fitted with these parts and require no change.

I ran an LS7 clutch with an aluminum flywheel in my 346 build. Great clutch. You can use a stock LS2 flywheel for the LS7 disk and pressure plate. Whichever you go with, replace the slave cylinder and pilot bearing while you're in there. Be sure to add a remote bleeder. It could save you a lot of heartburn later.

Another thing to consider since they will have the drivetrain dropped is to replace the torque tube bushings. Now is the time to do it.

No engine MODs ?? I would suggest the OME Z06 Clutch. Stock "Slave Cylinder" will be find.
