Folks,

I need objective input on this:

Not looking for visual critique. Want to know if the offer to subscribe is clear and motivating. Does it explain what a subscriber gets? Does it offer enough value?

Or is it confusing? Something missing?

Thanks, in advance.

Conversion rate not what it should be. Doing about 500 uniques a day.

I had to look several times just to find where to join. Had you not been specifically asking us to look for it I probably would have skipped right over it.

Having it buried in the middle of the page just doesn't stand out. And the video to the left steals the attention.

Once I click in, the page is good. Except I hate those slide-in windows. I do nothing but look for how to close them.

Talking about the Grey box titled "BENEFITS OF JOINING TEAM XN" with the 1,2,3,4 bullet list?

Put some links on that list or at least a pop-up info box with some more detailed info.

Put another "Join Team XN" at the bottom of that box, maybe.

my 2 censt. Overall, it's a good looking site

Was kind of confusing, lots of good info, but LOTS of info!!

Maybe in the big black bar with the Team XN info and the Click Here for more info button, put all the info from the Join XN team in the same box, and have the Join button right next to the Learn more button. Then you could expand the STEM instruction box.

Or have another horiz box under the Team XN box with the same info you have vertically in the middle of page. Gets lost visually, to me anyway.

Overall, the rest looks great! :seasix:

The first time I looked at the site, it took me awhile to see where to join and I was looking for it. It's getting lost on the page.

Also, make sure it's "above the fold." On my 24" monitor, the "JOIN TEAM XN" heading is visible, but the "JOIN TEAM XN NOW" logo and button isn't unless I scroll down.

Like Chris said, the video next to it is what's drawing my eye.

Great points. Hate the slider too but trying to get an offer in front of eyes.

I was thinking it has too much info. Trying to serve too many audiences. Starting the chainsaw...

Seems to be a theme....

If this is the offer you are referencing, then my responses are below:

Yes. No clear call to action (click here for more info "button" very small). Sentence is not compelling to entice me (as someone who has no idea what the site is about) to click for more information.

NP. Hope the feedback helps improve the click & conversion rate. :cert:

That is one call to action. Great points. Back to the drawing board.

You guys are awesome. I'll work on it and post up when ready to see if I improved it.

Feels a little bit like you're targeting kids with the headlines rather than the educators.

"Meet the kids every teacher wants in the classroom"?

How about something like - "Get your classroom as excited about Science as these kids"

I'd put more benefits to the teacher and less feature orientation to it.

Like the others above I'n not exactly certain what you want the teacher visiting the site to do - is it a module they can add in to their classwork? Is it a visual aid they can utilize?

Are teachers the influencers or the decision makers? (All that B2B sales process crap you know how to deal with)

I wasn't clear on a lot of that.

Agree. I should fire my marketing guy... :slap:

Weird how you don't see things when doing your own stuff....

Teachers can be influencers and buyers depending on the school. We want to appeal to home school too.

Principals are the top buyer.

Interesting site. I would simply put a JOIN NOW button either on the top header, or even on the bottom left corner of the main graphic. The Join Nicaragua and Join XN logo looks too similar to me; but the Join Now is buried between the other frames. Our company is working on a great deal of programs around conversion rates, click throughs, customer time on the site, etc. It's interesting to see the psychology (what colors get more attention, graphics, etc). From the last few meetings I have been in I hear, simplify, get them the info fast on the home page, and then move them through. Good luck. Oh, maybe make the Join Now button green. Apparently, the color makes people want to click.
