We had one car "almost" make the water today, but slid down into the mud. My car is strong. I'm only slightly off of my (and the) all time record time, but I was also cautious due to last year's wreck. I'll have some unedited videos up later tonight. Car ROCKS! Brakes are STELLAR. :hurray:

Have fun! And consider staying safe, as long as it doesn't conflict with #1

Good deal Craig! :cert:
I know when I have a bad experience at the track it takes a while to let the fear go and get my head right again.
Incredible how much that can hold you back.

Record is 2:22.871. I'm dirty at 2:23.8 and clean at 2:24.1 and on the 2:24 I bogged BIG time. There is definitely time out there. Running clean (no cones) is uber-difficult on this course. 2 of my 3 today were clean, which is good for me.

Excellent! If you only have to shave less than 1%, you're in the zone big time.
Now to find that extra second :driving:

Car is still in one piece AND I broke the record...WITH A CONE. Previous record was 2:22.871 (mine from 2010) and I got a 2:22.380 INCLUDING a 2 second penalty!! (2:20.380 raw time). No fendered car has EVER gotten into the teens at this course. I was so close. Next year when I return as an SSP car, I will shatter that record too. :hurray:
Still working on the videos. Won't likely have them up until tomorrow.
Way to go Craig :hurray::hurray: Can't wait to see the vids :cert:

Nice run.
A couple times through the slalom it looked like your hands were quicker than your car.
Is the window open a safety thing?

Fastest speed was 125 at the finish. I have used fourth gear and gone faster before.

Third gear runs out at 125. Really not much to be gained going to fourth.

Killer run Craig! Very cool to see how fluid the movement around the cones is.
I was looking for the cone you ate but couldn't find it.
Will be a blast to go at it again with a few more mods and run a different class.
Makes me wonder what you could do in my car with some stickier tires; although the power and gearing would be
a negative. I run out of 4th gear at 135 with the limiter bumped to 7400.

Gearing would definitely be an issue. More shifting equals more room for mistakes. But, the power in your car would be amazing at that event. :yesnod:
