Man the guy agreed to do 2 tables for $1,000 if I came back on Sunday. Unfortunately my house really isn't set up for a pool table, so we were going to put one at a friends house, and the other we'd try out at my house, but plan on selling on Craigslist. Well, my friend who was going to get the first one backed out. I was pretty disappointed, but there's no way I was moving those tables on my own.
It was a great deal, but more deals will come along.
Thanks for all your help with it though!

When I bought my house, there was an unfinished room over the garage where I was going to put the table I got. Got a good deal, 3 piece slate, I think over an inch thick, for about $500. Wasn't much to look at, but a solid table.
Never finished the room :(

I walked into a bar Saturday night, it was their last night they were closing. They were selling everything in the bar, including their Reno Olhausen pool tables. :yesnod: He was asking $600 a piece, but said he'd take $500 if we took two. They were in pretty solid shape.
I thought long and hard, even asked Steve to help make sure it was as good a deal as I thought. If It wasn't raining on Saturday, we probably would have just loaded one up in the truck Sat. night.

You don't have any friends w/trucks? In Texas??
I have a Crew Cab Longbed & I still have my Tahoe....I certainly don't need another friend with a truck. But I did need help disassembling, moving, and setting it up.

I was really looking forward to having one set up at Davids house...but taking apart and a pool table multiple times, wasn't worth the 300+ i could have made re-selling it.
