One hell of a pilot making that rescue with a huge set of brass nuts. Hovering that high and that long with no where to land if he shit an engine is not for the amateurs. Such delicate perfectly coordinated moves getting the patient out of those trees and on the ground. The medical helicopter at the end is from a company I used to work for. :seasix:

I used to hike and 4wheel out there all the time. It's right next to Amicalola Falls State Park (tallest waterfall in Georgia). Cochrans is also a nice waterfall, but it's extremely treacherous and steep. I've never made it to the top, but come close. It's not easy to get back there either - about 1 mile of trails like this. It's not publicly advertised, and we found it about 10 years ago using just topo maps.

Not entirely surprised someone got hurt, but glad he's ok.
