There was a case here locally of a surgeon who was a bad alcoholic. He obviously couldn't drink while on the job because his co-workers would have smelled him, and he couldn't operate without it because of the shakes. His solution was an IV bag full of vodka taped under his arm with the catheter inserfed deep into his rectum. When he needed some juice he just squeezed his arm into his side and got a small dose to keep him buzzed.

Not sure how he was got caught, and it never made the news. I found out through the medical people I worked with.

About 30 years ago when I was between marriages and banging everything I could I dated a really hot med student.

I remember picking her up for a date one night at her apartment.She invited me inside and said I'll be ready in a minute.She swabs her arm with an alcohol swab and sticks in a hypodermic needle and plunges it all in.

I say WTF..... are you shooting drugs....? because I do not want anything to do with that shit.She says no it's alcohol I'm just getting a pre buzz before we go out, all the students do it.

BTW......She was one of the best I ever had....Those med students know some really neat tricks.......:)
