Yea! I'm getting what I wanted. :hurray:

Geekbench, identifies this as a dual-core 1.05GHz processor paired with 1GB of RAM.

Apple thankfully didn't obscure the details of its A6 slide at the launch event, which gave us a Samsung part number: K3PE7E700F-XGC2. Through crafty navigation of Samsung's product guide, Brian Klug got us the details. The K3P tells us we're looking at a dual-channel LPDDR2 package with 32-bit channels. The E7E7 gives us the density of each of the two DRAM die (512MB per die, 1GB total). The final two characters in the part number give us the cycle time/data rate, which in this case is 1066MHz.

No they're back - the Jury said Apple was doing a billion dollars worth of thinking for Samsung.

BTW - Didya see the speed tests showing the dual core A6 running just as fast as the Galaxy's quad core processor?

Bench racing tech specs mean squat - it's implementation.

From the few things I've seen , it seems apple is playing catch up.

Apple waits for the market penetration to be there before they release features. NFC will only happen if a majority of retailers start implementing it. Just like they waited for LTE to be widespread and took their time getting messaging done.

It took them years to have color monitors on Macs.

With LTE they were waiting more on a single chip, low power option. They refused to compromise battery life for LTE.
